Currently we are working on a vast array of projects throughout Merseyside, listed below are a few projects at various stages.

Design and Planning Linwood House - Conversion of existing 18th Century mansion in Mossley Hill to flats with proposed luxury dwelling new build within grounds. e-design of hydrotherapy pool and associated buildings

Management and supervision of maintenance Crosby Housing Association Cyclical programme of works for external maintenance, contractor has started on site.

Domestic

Project Title; Erection of single storey sitting room / summer room.
Address; Dowhills Drive, Blundellsands, Liverpool, L23
Project Description; This project involved opening up the whole of the rear portion of the property to create a welcoming, and dynamic space for modern living. The dining room was extended into a large sitting room / summer room, bringing in much light throughout the day. With the kitchen opened up to the extended dinning room a contrast between the more private and formal rooms and areas to the front of the property was created, giving the busy family the best of both worlds. Project Title; Conversion of Church Hall into Single Dwelling.
Address; St Lukes Church Hall, Southport.
Project Description; Completed in late 2006 this extensive conversion included; formation of mezzanine level within the hall area to create a master bedroom with en-suite and walk-in wardrobes within adjacent roof voids, open plan games and cinema room to basement, formation of sloping driveway to a basement garage.
We employed underfloor heating to heat this dwelling. One of the main building regulation issues was the means of escape. Click for larger plan image and details

New Build

Project title; New Clubhouse at Blundellsands Lawn Tennis Club
Address; Blundellsands Lawn Tennis Club. Warren Road, Blundellsands, L23.
Project Description; Completed in 2001 for Blundellsands Lawn Tennis Club. This project was to demolish the remains of the existing burnt out square shaped 1970’s flat roofed building and erect a new clubhouse which suited the location and backdrop of Blundellsands Park. This project was completed within budget and within programme. The south facing front elevation overlooks the majority of the tennis courts and there is a patio / viewing area to the west elevation.

Project title; Demolish dwelling and erect three storey building containing 9 self contained apartments.

Project Description; Currently under construction the development at Haigh Road is to erect a three storey building containing 9No self contained flats. Formerly, the site was a single residence, work began on demolition in 2005 and now the project is undergoing the final phases. The installation of curtain glazing, a wall of glass to form a distinct entrance and bridge the two parts of the design and will be the final part of major building works. Project title; Demolish former bakery / shop and erect two storey building containing 4 self contained apartments.

Project Description; A derelict, decrepit, existing bakery building was demolished here to make way for a two storey development housing 4 No. self contained flats with ramped access on a tight site this project offered a challenge and proved a success. Click for larger plan image and details

Project title; Erection of two and a half storey building containing 4No self contained apartments.
Address; Glenwyllin Road, Waterloo, Liverpool, L22
Project Description; Currently under construction this project commenced in September 2006. The original bungalow dwelling suffered severe subsidence, this building partially collapsed and was removed over sixteen years ago. This project required specialist foundations in the form of piles and ground beams. Click for larger plan image and details

Commercial

Project title; Conversion of dwelling and erection of three storey rear elevation extension to form 6 self contained apartments.

Project description; Completed in 2006 the three storey extension allowed for well sized two bedroom apartments. Also we formed 3No dormers to the front elevation to assist in the conversion of the roof void. Click for larger plan image and details

Project title; Erection of industrial unit.
Address; Hawthorne Road, Bootle, L20
Project description; This industrial project made use of many of our services and the challenge came from a planning aspect, in the form of numerous conditions. As with all our projects the briefs are individual, this business itself being such a bespoke setup taught us a thing or too. Click for larger plan image and details

Project title; Conversion of double garage into two bedroom dwelling, includes external alterations.
Address; St Anthony’s Road, Blundellsands, Liverpool, L23.
Project description; Currently under construction this project is due to be completed in April 2007. This was a unusual brief to create a two bed dwelling from a 100 year old double garage, also the conversion was difficult to design and achieve planning permission, considering the number of planning issues this raised. Project title; Formation of corridor / meeting area and communal hall to Care Home for the Physically Disabled.
Address; Mayfield Court, Knotty Ash, L12.
Project description; Completed in 2005 for Mayfield Fellowship, the brief was to connect two buildings, while the buildings were in 24 hours use 7 days a week. During the works we were required to erect and maintain a temporary covered secure walkway for the use of residents, staff and visitors, between Block A and Block B. Click for larger plan image
